Hi everyone-
I'm quite content here in NYC drinking brandy and listening to skip james and billie holiday at midnight-
apparently a crane fell earlier on 51st street and crashed into the opposite building. And our leader Señor Bush got stuck in traffic on 6th Avenue in midtown on friday causing all kinds of pandemonium. That's all the news from here, besides all the tabloid headlines about our ex-governor's girlfriend.
We're still trying to decide what website address we want, but as we've already registered www.NewYorkSydney.com I put some clocks on it so everyone can see what time it is on the other side of the world. Not fancy but maybe actually useful.
Hi to all & I miss everyone -Christopher

NY News report & World Clock
Caitlin =)
my writings actually below the images, about american patriotism and the more we know about the past, being better prepared for the future - which was a response to eva's words about the future generations. it became a poetic representation of the history of America and for me, i dont know if you want to utilise it or not, but its more about the physicality of making the images - with the paintbrush in the darkroom.
so yeah.
go forth and prosper!

in other news...
it's 25 degrees and sunny in bondi, it has been bondi bay (huge bathtub) for a week and every day the north heads are covered with people behaving like seals, jumping off rocks and riding the swells back up onto them...
yesterday on a rare and precious day off I went into town to the MCA but not before accidentally catching the train over the harbour bridge to Milsons Point and back, which turned out to be a blessing in disguise because it's AWESOME so now all of us will do it.. must be the best train station view in the world.
Fiona Hall is having a retrospective and it is totally spectacular- look it up on the MCA website (Museum of Contemporary Art, we'll all go there too)
The city is humid and close and full of palm trees and girls with sunburnt shoulders
help me
hey, I am unsure of which writing I am inheriting... eva or simone or anyone can you clear that up?

Website Emails
So as of now we have the address www.NewYorkSydney.com and soon will have www.sydneynewyork.com. Not sure what the pages will look like, but will soon and would love criticism. Don't go there cause there isn't anything up yet.
Do people want emails addresses, either that would forward to your existing accounts or would be a new email address,
as in Chris@NewYorkSydney.com
?
We have 250 email accounts available @NewYorkSydney.com, so don't be shy
When we have a working site with the work on it (during the exhibitions) everyone probably should have a proper email address so they don't put their personal one on the web.... Even if the fancy NewYorkSydney one just forward to the existing one.
so lemme know
-Señor Chris
questions
isn't it the 3rd rotation?
also which writing (as well as Amy's image) am i responding to?
i think its supposed to be Amy's response to the corpse she was given, which happens to be mine.
if so, Amy could you post it? haha.
the other thing is, if its posted by the 21st NY time, is that the 20th sydney?
oh! and am i to utilise the city of sydney specifically or can it be my home town also?
in other news...
SO good to be back home, i instantly fell in love with wearing thongs and flimsy dresses, getting sunburnt from only walking to the bus stop, sweating whilst sitting down and having to fan yourself with your books when in a lecture. its so hot!
but i also miss magnolia bakery, and all the exquisite new yorkians.
ps. katherine zeta jones was on my flight!
